The Rickshaw challenge is a team of six young people, together with The One Show's Matt Baker, who take on an eight-day challenge challenge to cycle 400 miles from Holyhead to London: including riding to Flash, the highest village in the UK, and tackling the steepest street in the world in Harlech, Wales. In over the ten years it has been going, they have  raised over £4,000,000 which is a gigantic amount that can go towards BBC Children in Need.
Tate in 6M has taken part in his own way.  The class bloggers, Oliver and Aydin, interviewed him.

Congratulations Tate, you rode your bike 47 miles for Children in Need.
Can you explain why you decided to ride 47 miles?
I decided to ride this  distance because 7 people ride every year and 7 x 47 miles equals the distance they ride proudly each year.

How long did it take you?
It took me four days - that's an average of 12 miles (an hour long) each day!

How did you keep occupied: it must have been a long time to keep motivated!?
I kept occupied by watching really cool videos of motor cross to take the stress of my shoulders

How much have you raised and how did people know about your fundraiser?
I raised a whopping £800 and more! I think I might raise more by doing it again though I might do more miles a day!
