OfSTED Report

We are delighted to share with you the outcome of our most recent Ofsted inspection, which took place on 11 and 12 March 2025. This inspection was carried out under Ofsted’s latest inspection framework and involved a thorough review of all aspects of our school. Inspectors observed lessons, met with pupils chosen at random, reviewed school data and documentation, and gathered parental feedback.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Chase Bridge Primary School was graded ‘Outstanding’ across all areas:

  • The quality of education – Outstanding
  • Behaviour and attitudes – Outstanding
  • Personal development – Outstanding
  • Leadership and management – Outstanding
  • Early years provision – Outstanding

This outcome reflects the collective hard work, dedication, and high expectations held by our entire school community. Inspectors recognised Chase Bridge as an inclusive, welcoming, and vibrant place for children to learn and grow. They praised the rich curriculum, exceptional behaviour and the wide range of opportunities that help pupils excel not only academically, but also personally and socially.

We have selected a few of the highlights below from the report but please do take the time to read the full report:

  • Chase Bridge Primary School provides an exceptional education.
  • Pupils demonstrate excellent behaviour and strong relationships, underpinned by our school values: Be ready, be safe, be respectful.
  • A broad and ambitious curriculum supports deep and progressive learning across all year groups, starting from the Early Years.
  • Reading is a high priority, with pupils learning to read fluently and confidently from the start.
  • Children thrive in a nurturing, language-rich early years setting that sparks curiosity and joy in learning.
  • Extensive opportunities for personal development, including clubs, music ensembles, leadership roles and mental health support, ensure every child feels seen and supported.
  • Staff are highly skilled and well-supported through ongoing professional development, leading to consistently high-quality teaching.

We are all incredibly proud of this achievement, yet remain as ambitious as ever. We will continue to strive to ensure all our children receive an excellent education where they can Excel at Learning, Express their Talents and Care for Others.
