School Sports Funding
A huge part of the ethos at Chase Bridge is expressing your talents. The benefits of sports and sporting competitions go beyond the match as children learn lifelong skills such as resilience, hard work, collaboration and sportsmanship. Given our location next to the Twickenham Rugby Stadium, this means rugby and sports are part of our heritage, which further connects us to the local community.
As of September 2013 all maintained schools in England are being given additional government funding to improve PE and sport in schools. OfSTED will be assessing and reporting on how effectively this is being used. Chase Bridge was given £21,300 in 19/20 and £21,300 in 20/21 and £21,298 in 2021/22.
The below document outlines how we used the funding for school year 2021/22.
