3J have written a letter to people in the government to ask them some questions about Climate Change. Below you can read Annie's letter.

Dear Madam,
My name is Annie and I go to Chase Bridge School in London. I am writing on behalf of my class regarding climate change.
I would like to draw your attention to some concerns I have about climate change. Firstly, I would like to tell you about climate change. I have been learning about the impact it has on the Polar Regions. Climate change is the change in temperature. We cause it as humans. We are burning fossil fuels, which is creating a blanket around the world. This means the sun’s rays cannot escape so the world is getting hotter!
At school, I have been learning about the Polar Regions and climate change, which has drawn my attention to many issues. Did you know polar ice caps are melting which is causing rivers to rise? Were you aware that because of climate change only 20,000 polar bears remain in the world?
I believe that we need to educate children. There are simple things children can do to reduce their carbon footprint. For example recycling and planting trees.
I feel strongly about this subject and I look forward to your reply.
Yours faithfully,
Annie
